Short Project Description:
The project aims to create and introduce an innovative VR application available through an internet platform. The application will achieve the following objectives:

Address the need for physical activity in response to a sedentary lifestyle, lack of physical activity due to lockdowns related to epidemics and pandemics, adverse weather conditions, and the risks associated with accidents on public roads.

Enhance the realism and immersion of indoor training for both professional athletes and enthusiasts actively using indoor trainers, while encouraging others to engage in such training.

Mobilize older individuals to maintain and improve their health and motor functions.

Introduce an educational component to the tourism sector to disseminate knowledge in an attractive form.
The final product will include innovative features such as interactive training in a virtual space using 360-degree video technology, where the virtual experience speed matches the actual energy expenditure. Multiple users will share a virtual space represented by 3D avatars. Key activities include:
- Improving and optimizing the acquisition of 360-degree video material, geolocation data, and photogrammetry, implementing and optimizing them in the application’s graphics environment.
- Introducing additional realism-enhancing solutions, such as replicating the cyclist’s tracked position and enabling braking on descents to eliminate dangerous habits.
- Utilizing most external sensors available on the market.
The project will also involve creating a user interface for the application, building an online platform for subscribers, and introducing additional features like training plans.
Project Goal
The goal of the project is to tap into a niche market by introducing a virtual reality solution that combines the world of sports with modern digital solutions. The developed business model involves selling the application through a monthly subscription at a fixed rate. Further development will introduce new paid features, locations, and virtual competitions with additional entry fees. The marketing strategy includes continuous market expansion. This will lead to the development of a dynamic company in the Eastern Poland macroregion, offering an innovative product on a global scale.
